Payment Options and Insurance Information
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payments via HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards.
Insurance and Reimbursement
Many health insurance plans do not cover acupuncture, so we do not accept third-party payments. However, if your plan includes acupuncture benefits, you can submit a coded receipt to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
To determine your eligibility, contact your insurance provider and ask the following:
- Does my plan cover acupuncture and Telehealth consultations?
- Is out-of-network coverage for acupuncture and Telehealth included in my plan?
- Is there a deductible? If so, how much of it have I met this year?
- How many acupuncture visits are covered per quarter or per year?
- How much is reimbursed per session?
- Are there any excluded diagnoses?
If you have coverage, we can provide a detailed billing summary upon request for you to submit to your insurance company. Please note:
- Shamrock will not submit claims on your behalf or assist with claim resolution.
- Coverage for our services is not guaranteed.
Good Faith Estimates
Our fees are transparently listed on this page and included in your initial confirmation email. You will never receive a surprise bill from us.
Under federal law, healthcare providers must give clients who are not using insurance a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected costs for medical services. This ensures you know what to expect financially for non-emergency healthcare services.
Your Rights Regarding Good Faith Estimates:
- You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time—before scheduling a service or during treatment.
- If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.
For more details about your rights, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
